Streaming services are a popular way for students to keep up with their favourite shows and films when they’re away from home – especially if they’re leaving behind a satellite subscription! Now TV has packages to suit your taste and budget and, while there isn’t a permanent discount deal for students, you can get a one-week free trial and then keep an eye out for any deals on the cinema and sports packages. In the past it has offered two months’ Sky Cinema access for £10.

Train fare student discount

The 16 to 25 Student Railcard makes it much more affordable to get around by rail. It gives students a 1/3 off rail fare and saves, on average, £189 per year. If you make at least three journeys, it practically pays for itself.

Travelodge
